Dabei ist jede Statorgruppe (4.1 - 4.4) mit mindestens einem eigenen Energiewandler (5.1 - 5.4) zur Energieversorgung permanent verbunden, welcher einzeln angesteuert werden kann. Mindestens zwei der Statorgruppen (4.1 - 4.4) sind derart angeordnet, dass der Läufer gleichzeitig mit den mindestens zwei Statorgruppen (4.1 - 4.4) wechselwirken kann. Die Erfindung betrifft weiter die Verwendung des Linearmotorantriebssystems zur Beschleunigung eines Fahrzeugs 3 zum Personentransport in einer Vergnügungsanlage.
