An automatic sewing device is provided to prevent an interruption with an arbitrary process which is one of a clamping process of fabric and a supplying process in sewing work. An automatic sewing device includes a sewing machine(22), a fabric supplying device, and a guide unit of a stitching part. The guide unit of the stitching part includes a guide outward shape assembly and a guide bob unit. The guide outward shape assembly is operated as a plurality of guide members. The guide main body forms a shape of stitching part according to the guide outward shape assembly. One of a plurality of guide members connected with a fabric support plate(3) strongly. |

A sewing machine is provided to perform certainly the press of the sewn object with the constant pressing force through a cloth pressing member. A needle rod(3) moves up and down for performing a sewing operation. A cloth pressing member(41) is supported movably up and down relatively to the needle rod. A compression member(43) compresses downwardly the cloth pressing member in the needle rod. According to the operation of the needle rod, the cloth pressing member is reached at the lower dead point, the cloth pressing member is restricted by regulation members(47,58,61) of a sewing machine. The position of the cloth pressing member is mechanically restricted and the cloth pressing member does not move upwardly. |

PURPOSE: An electronic zigzag stitch sewing machine is provided to effect start or end back-tacking of a given pattern following a needle rocking pattern via a simple process reliably. CONSTITUTION: Back-tacking patterns of pattern numbers 1 to 9 different from needle rocking patterns are set and stored for back-tacking before or after the needle rocking patterns. Depending on the stitch feed and condense stitch feed specified by needle rocking pattern data and a back-tacking pattern both selectively read out of the memory, the needle rocking mechanism is driven to form a seam of the needle rocking and back-tacking patterns. The back- tacking pattern differing from the needle rocking pattern can offer reliable back-tacking depending on the fabric and thread. |

A sewing machine includes a material sandwiching unit to sandwich two materials having annular edges from above and below while they are stacked so that the material on an inner wheel side is located on the lower side and the material on an outer wheel side is located on the upper side, wherein a part of the material sandwiching unit located above the two materials is vertically movable, the material sandwiching unit includes a curl-removing mechanism to straighten curls occurring on the edges of the two materials, the material sandwiching unit includes inclined parts that serve as the curl-removing mechanism and have edges extending backward from a farther side of the edges toward the edge side at a position where the two materials pass therethrough, and the inclined parts have air ejectors to eject air so as to form airflows that straighten portions of the materials where curls have occurred. |

A needle bar case has a plurality of needle bars. As a main shaft is rotated by a main shaft motor (first drive source), the needle bars are driven in an up-down direction so that a sewing operation is carried out in a conventionally-known manner. Ascending/descending bars are supported on the needle bar case in corresponding relation to the needle bars, and each of the ascending/descending bars is driven in the up-down direction by a motor (second drive source). A cord guide member for guiding a cord material onto a workpiece is mounted to the lower end of any of the ascending/descending bars, in place of a conventional presser foot. Cord sewing or loop sewing of cord material can be performed selectively by changing an ascending/descending stroke of the ascending/descending bar. Thus, cord sewing and loop sewing of the chord material can be performed selectively with a simple construction. |
