PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the generation of fabric faults caused by the momental fluctuation of the set value of the number of rotation of a loom, or of the set pressure of an assistant nozzle by interrupting the weft insertion under transition operational conditions when weaving a flat or pile fabric. SOLUTION: When a signal indicating the waiting of a weft thread having a different processing parameter is outputted by a loom program 17 to a controller 9 in an air-jet loom 1 having program-controllable operational functions, the controller 9 carries out at least one of the change of the number of the rotation by a loom-driving device 6, and the change of the operational pressure by a compressed air-supplying device 7, and also causes the so-called transition operational condition. The weft insertion is interrupted during the duration of the so-called transition operational condition, and a weft insertion means 2 generates only empty weft shots. Simultaneously, a fabric taking-up element 3 and a weft yarn letting-off element 4 are operated so that a beating-up edge may separate from a beating-up position, and the undesired built-up edge of the fabric may not be caused by the operation of the reed under the transition operational condition. 184 Method for preventing weaving bar in loom and apparatus therefor JP26584194 1994-10-28 JPH08127944A 1996-05-21 MAKINO YOICHI
PURPOSE: To improve the operating efficiency by holding the extent of correction for the cloth fell position without causing a stop mark caused by the frame stop due to test weaving tried through a test weaving control circuit. CONSTITUTION: A test weaving control circuit 39 is connected to a control computer C0 of a loom. When a stop mark caused by the frame stop due to mispick is present, a stop mark test mode selecting switch 40 is operated to ON by an operator and the first test weaving in a prescribed amount is carried out through the test weaving control circuit 39. The loom is then automatically stopped to operate a delivery motor 1 by an extent set by a setting circuit 41 for the extent of correction for the cloth fell position after the passage of a time set by a setting circuit 42 for the stop time. The second test weaving is subsequently performed by a prescribed extent to automatically stop the loom. The presence or absence of the stop mark between the first and second test weavings is confirmed by the operator. When the stop mark is present, the switch 40 is further turned ON to repeat the stop mark test until the stop mark is eliminated. Thereby, the proper extent of correction for the cloth fell position corresponding to the stop time is grasped.

186 Method and weaving machine for monitoring the fell position following weaving operation interruption JP6970695 1995-03-28 JPH07316955A 1995-12-05 GOODERUTO DO IEEGAA
PURPOSE: To provide a method for detecting the position of the fell by sensing at a location proximate the fell during interruption of the weaving operation. CONSTITUTION: When the operation is interrupted, the position of the fell is detected and the detection needle 2 comes at the position proximate the fell 19 and is inserted to the linearly moving part in order to judge the displacement of the fell. The detecting needle 2 is connected to the electromagnet 3 as an actuator for pressing the needle into the linearly moving part and is inductively coupled to a distance sensor which measures the needle displacement. On the basis of a variety of factors and the steps, the displacement of the fell caused by the inherent relaxation of the linearly moving part and of the warp of the cloth 18 can be effectively measured while the operation of the loom is interrupted. 188 Method for controlling beat-up in loom JP23562994 1994-09-29 JPH07173743A 1995-07-11 RUDORUFU FUOOGERU; HIYUSUNIYUU EFUREN
PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling beat-up in such as manner as to avoid the beat-up start in a thick portion and/or thin portion. CONSTITUTION: A woven fabric 10 is withdrawn via a breast beam 6 and a take-off roller to a cross beam 3. A pile warp thread 8 is withdrawn from a pile warp beam 2 via an oscillation roller 5 to a shed 9. The reed 12 of a sley 11 is driven by a main drive axle 13 of a loom. Further, a servo motor 15 is disposed and is operatively connected to a sley control means 14 in order to set the beat-up distance. The servo motor 15 is electrically connected to a control means 16 in order to drive the servo motor 15 according to a control program. In the control method, the target beat-up distance is changed in order to avert the beat-up start in, for example, the filling bar of the woven fabric, i.e., in the thickness and/or thin portion. The products, such as, for example, terry fabrics or smooth fabrics, are produced by having the weft thread density meeting the program. COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO

PURPOSE:To prevent excessive variation of the warp tension (T) or occurrence of a weaving bar caused by the excessive variation when a loom is restarted. CONSTITUTION:A rotation controller system for a delivery motor (M) composed of a regulator 11 and a control amplifier 12 is equipped with a modification unit composed of a multiplier 13, a switching circuit 15 and a down counter 15c. The down counter 15c and the switching circuit 15 connect the multiplier 13 to the output side of the regulator 11 over a prescribed period after a loom is restarted. The multiplier 13 can, therefore, suitably correct a speed direction signal (S1) sent from the regulator 11 and send it to the control amplifier 12.

PURPOSE: To assure an always uniform weaving density by automatically varying the position of a shed vertex in a direction where the differences between the variation value of every beat-up and a preset value are decreased during the transient state following loom stoppages. CONSTITUTION: The loom is started and the deformation of a deflection bar 13 which occurs under ordinary operation is measured by a deformation sensor 19 at every beat-up and this value is set at a set value unit 25 after the loom stoppage. The loom is then restarted and the deformation value measured by this sensor 19 at every beat-up during the transient state following the loom stoppage and the set value unit 25 described above are compared by a comparator 22 and the differential signal thereof is outputted to a converter 28. This converter 28 is converted to the control voltage of an electric motor 5 for driving a warp feeding beam 17 and an electric motor 18 for driving a take-up roller 14. The drives of these motors 5 and 18 are controlled in accordance with this control voltage, by which the position of the vertex 10 of the shed 9 is changed and the differences to be outputted to the comparator 22 are decreased. PURPOSE: To avoid the reed collision during return motion and to prevent the occurrence of a weaving defect by continuously rotating a spindle and a heald mechanism together at a prescribed angle via a transmission device after loom stoppage by a weft thread defect, then disconnecting the coupling and reverse rotating both. CONSTITUTION: At the time of the return movement of a drive section 16 of the spindle 17, a reed shaft and a heald mechanism 15 to the respective rotating angle after the restart after the loom is stopped by the weft defect and the faulty weft defect is removed, the spindle 17 and a drive shaft 16 are further continuously rotated by the angle smaller than 360° via the transmission device 13 and thereafter the coupling of the spindle 17 and the drive shaft 16 is disconnected. The spindle 17 and the reed shaft are then rotated backward at the rotating angle smaller than 360° and the drive shaft 16 is rotated backward at the angle larger than 360° and thereafter, the drive shaft 16 and the spindle 17 are connected again and the return motion is smoothed. The transmission device 13 interlocks the spindle 17 and the drive shaft 16 by a belt 18 and is constituted to have a clutch 22 of 1:2 to 1:3 in a speed increasing transmission ratio between the drive shaft 16 and a driven shaft 14a. 193 One-shot weft inserting method in jet loom JP13667791 1991-06-07 JPH04361647A 1992-12-15 NIIHARA MASAMI
PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of AYAMAKURA (one defect of woven fabric, stripe occurring in the width direction produced by leaving weaving machine in an open state for a long time) and occurrence of weaving damage resulting from end breakage before they happen by previously making an auxiliary nozzle for weft inserting spout and carrying out one-shot weft inserting through a main nozzle before reopening of weaving after stopping of frame. CONSTITUTION: In a jet loom wherein weft inserting is done by spouting action of a main nozzle for weft inserting and weft is sucked to feed yarn end of cloth through spouting action of an auxiliary nozzle for weft inserting, after a frame having caused mistaken weft inserting is stopped, a cloth fell is previously transferred from a normal position to a woven cloth side and the frame is slowly inverted. Then the cloth fell is returned to the normal position and then weft subjected to weft inserting just before stopping of the frame is removed. Then before reopening of weaving, in a spouted state of the auxiliary nozzle for weft inserting, weft is subjected to one-shot weft inserting through the main nozzle for weft inserting. 194 Device for preventing stop bar of loom JP1201791 1991-02-01 JPH04257349A 1992-09-11 IMAMURA HIDEICHIRO
PURPOSE: To prevent stop bars by automatically moving the cloth fell to a proper position just before restarting a loom without performing setting operation relying on the perception of a worker. CONSTITUTION: A contact pressure between a reed near reed beating and a cloth fell in normal operation of a loom is sensed by a means (A) for sensing the contact pressure between the reed and the cloth fell, and memorized in the first memorizing means (B) (in normal operation) or the contact pressure between the reed near the reed beating and the cloth fell in just after restarting (or during inching) of the loom is sensed and memorized in the second memorizing means (C) (just after restarting). Just before restarting the loom, the travel of the cloth fell is then calculated based on the difference of the memorized values by a cloth fell travel calculating means (D) to move the cloth fell based thereon by a cloth fell moving means (E). PURPOSE: To surely prevent AYAMAKURA (one of defects of woven fabric, streak in the lateral direction caused by allowing to stand for a long time in an open state as it is),resulting from interference of reed with cloth fell in slow reverse rotation or slow normal rotation of frame by previously displacing the cloth fell from a beating up position to a woven cloth side so that the cloth fell is not beaten by the reed. CONSTITUTION: Before slow reverse rotation or slow normal rotation of frame which is done in treatment of mistaken weft inserting is carried out, a control computer C drives and controls a winding motor 18 reversely and normally rotatable installed independently from a frame motor M worked and connected to a surface roller 8, and displaces a cloth fell position W 1 from a beating up position to a woven cloth side based on a displacement control content previously inputted by an input device 19. Consequently, beating of the cloth fell W 1 by a reed 6 is avoided during the slow reverse rotation or slow normal rotation and interference of the reed with the cloth fell is prevented by returning the cloth fell W 1 to the original position before operation of frame is restarted after the slow reverse rotation, and the slow normal rotation is carried out. PURPOSE: To effectively prevent occurrence of filling bar even when activation angle is changed by controlling at least one motor between delivery motor and take-up motor so as to reversely rotate by an amount equivalent to target kickback amount calculated by adding stopping time as parameter in activation angle detected when a loom is activated. CONSTITUTION: When the cause by which a loom is stopped is eliminated and the loom is re-activated, an angle detecting part detects a mechanical angle of loom in the point of time of output of activation-preparing signal and outputs the mechanical angle as an activation angle and simultaneously stopping time measured by a stopping time-measuring part jointly provided is added as a parameter and a target kickback amount is calculated in a function-generating part and the amount is input to a motor control part. The motor control part controls at least one motor between delivery motor and take-up roller so as to reversely rotate the motor by an amount equivalent to the above-mentioned aimed kickback amount and then shift to stationary operation. PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of weaving bar at the change of structure by canceling variation action on the position in cloth fell originated in variation of warp tension in the change of structure by changing rotation speed of take-up motor independently from a loom driving motor. CONSTITUTION: Rotation speed of take-up motor 19 is temporarily subjected to change control, setting to variation direction of warp tension originated in the change of structure when structure is changed. A cloth fell W 1 subjected to correcting action of reverse direction against variation direction of position in the cloth fell originated in the change of warp tension and the position in cloth fell is retained to a proper position. 199 Method for preventing formation of heavy filling bar in loom and apparatus therefor JP5507589 1989-03-09 JPH02234957A 1990-09-18 SAKURADA KENJI; MAENAKA KIMIHIRO
PURPOSE: To surely prevent the formation of a heavy filling bar in the restart of a loom by decreasing the beating density below the target density at the restart of a loom and performing the weaving operation while gradually returning to the target beating density after the start of the loom. CONSTITUTION: A cloth is woven with a loom having changeable beating density using a stretchable warp. In the case of restarting the loom after the stop of weaving by a trouble such as end breakage, the weaving is started at a beating density decreased below the target beating density and then performed while gradually increasing the density to the target level after the restarting operation. The time necessary for returning the density to the target level after restarting action is preferably determined according to the stop period of the loom. COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
