A lever arm adjustable drive is provided for the take-up roll which simplifies the problem of adjusting the number of picks provided for a given length of woven material during loom operation. A drive for the latching needle of the loom also is provided which provides a horizontal reciprocating motion to the latching needle in a simple manner. A spring biased braking arrangement for braking rotation of the warp beam supplying warp thread from the supply spool also is made available.

Um eine Webmaschine Webmaschine mit eingearbeiteten Wirkfäden bereitzustellen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die entsprechende Vorrichtung zum Einarbeiten von Wirkfäden für jeden Wirkfaden eine Zuführvorrichtung für den Wirkfaden, für jeden Wirkfaden einen zwischen Kettfäden (2, 3) in das Webfach bis unter den Eintragsweg der Schusseintragsvorrichtung (7) eintauchbaren Lochnadelstecher (4) mit einer Fadenführungsöse aufweist. Jeder der Lochnadelstecher (4) ist quer zur Kettrichtung verschiebbar angeordnet, wodurch er über die Breite des Webgutes hinweg verfahren werden kann. Es ist weiterhin eine Kammwelle (10) vorgesehen mit einer Vielzahl von Zähnen mit dazwischen befindlichen Zwischenräumen zum Führen der Wirkfäden. Die quer zur Kettfadenrichtung verschiebbare und um eine Achse in Richtung der Schiene drehbare Kammwelle (10) ist quer zur Kettfadenrichtung hinter der Anschlagposition des Webblattes angeordnet. Die Zähne der Kammwelle weisen Vorsprünge auf, die so ausgebildet sind, dass die Zähne die Wirkfäden in zumindest einer Drehposition der Kammwelle halten können.
