An improved curtain rod assembly is disclosed which includes a track having a decorative fascia attached thereto. The track and fascia cooperate to permit the fascia to be easily attached thereto. A return plate is configured for attachment to the track and cooperates with a bracket assembly to support the track from a wall the appropriate distance. A side fascia is configured for attachment with the return plate and an elbow connects the fascia on the track and the return plate to provide an esthetically pleasing system.
102 | Drapery rod assembly for architectural aperatures | US104781 | 1987-10-02 | US4825611A | 1989-05-02 | Deborah K. Bassett |
A drapery assembly for use in architectural apertures having non-standard sizes and shapes, such as arched windows. The traverse rod portion of the assembly is a flexible, telescopic rod formed from tube sections of synthetic plastic-like material. The rod is supported along the upper boundary of the aperture by a plurality of hooks which aid in maintaining the rod in a desired orientation. A drapery is made to maintain the rod in substantial conformity with the shape of the aperture without aid of the hooks thereby facilitating installation of the assembly one hooks are in place. The variable size of the rod permits the assembly to be used in apertures of differing sizes. The material forming the rod makes the rod easily bent to have a uniform curvature and to conform to the shape of the aperture. The material also insures that the fabric forming the drapery contacts only smooth surfaces thereby preventing snagging.
103 | Rod and bracket assembly | US103777 | 1979-12-14 | US4352433A | 1982-10-05 | James A. Ford |
A rod and bracket assembly for supporting a curtain or drapery and having rod means capable of extending through, and holding in an upright manner, a wide hem at the upper end of a drapery or curtain, whereby to simulate a valance at said upper end. End cap means are connected to the ends of said rod and are removably attachable to appropriate hook means on brackets, which are mountable on a wall. Thus, said end cap means provides the connecting means between said brackets and said rod and facilitate the mounting of the curtain onto said rod without snagging and provides an attractive termination for the ends of such rod.
104 | Curtain rod support | US3661272D | 1970-10-19 | US3661272A | 1972-05-09 | PANNI EDWARD G DI JR |
A curtain rod, supported by brackets at each end, is provided with a central support which both supports the midportion of the rod and holds the rod in a position of balanced symmetry with respect to its supports. The center support comprises a base element that can be mounted on a wall and which has sides which extend outwardly from the wall. Each side has a socket cut into it and the sockets are axially aligned and adapted to receive the end of a curtain rod. Also an axially aligned hole is provided, communicating between the two sockets. Before mounting, a curtain rod is cut into two sections. One section is then inserted respectively into each socket and held in place by a fastening device which attaches to each rod end and passes through the hole.

117 | FOLDABLE CURTAIN ROD AND A CURTAIN RING THEREFOR | PCT/IL2012050501 | 2012-12-04 | WO2013084231A3 | 2013-08-08 | BAR-LEV AVNER; BEZALEL-MAZAR INBAL; ROSEN ERAN |
According to one aspect of the subject matter of the present application there is provided a foldable curtain (1) rod configured for mounting thereon a curtain. The rod comprises at least two elongated rod segments (10a, 10b) consecutively articulated to one another via a coupling arrangement (H) allowing pivotal displacement of one rod segment with respect to the other. Each of the rod segments is configured for supporting a respective portion of the curtain, extending along a hanging line. The curtain rod is configured for assuming at least a first, deployed position in which the rod segments are essentially axially aligned to provide the curtain rod with a maximal span thereof and a second, folded position in which the rod segments are substantially parallel to one another to provide the curtain rod with a minimal span thereof. In the second, folded position, the hanging lines of the respective rod segments are spaced from one another.

A drapery configured to decoratively cover a window area, including a rod; and a drape suspended from the rod by a plurality of spaced rings. The drapery also includes a spacing cable coupled to the drape between a pair of spaced rings by coupling members and sized to restrict a maximum spacing between the spaced rings. The spacing cable is flexible and includes decorative members coupled about the cable. The spacing cable is coupled between a pair of adjacent rings to prevent the rings from being fully extended, thereby preserving aesthetic qualities of the drapery. The coupling members are lobster claw clamps and the decorative members are beads. The drapery also includes a plurality of crimp beads coupled to the cable and configured to restrict lateral motion of the decorative members.
