| PURPOSE: To make the supply of steam and hot water switchable by making the cylinder of a water tube type boiler a double cylinder, and forming a hot water chamber using the furnace cylinder wall as a heating surface and connecting the water tube type boiler to the hot water chamber by means of an air feed pipe. CONSTITUTION: The hot water chamber 11 existing between th furnace cylinder 1 of the water tube type boiler and the outer cylinder thereof is unitarily formed with a water tank 12. To this water tank 12, there is connected an air feed tube 13 from the steam collecting part 8 of the boiler main body 4. When steam is taken out, a valve 14 is closed, and a stop valve 10 of a steam supply tube 9 is opened, to supply steam to a required place. When hot water is taken out, the stop valve 10 is closed, and a valve 14 is opened, steam being charged into th water tank 12 and water being heated.
