A sport sock with an integral shin guard has a series of inflatable bladder elements positioned next to and affixed to an inner surface of the sock material to overlie the shin of a wearer and perform a guard function when inflated. The bladder elements are inter-connected and may be connected to a small, manually-operated pump that is located at the rear upper portion of the sock. A pair of upper and lower inflatable straps are affixed to the sock material and encircle the leg. The straps are also inter-connected to the bladder element so that they inflate and deflate in coordination with the bladder elements and retain the sock on the leg when inflated. |

This invention relates to an improved women's stocking and stocking support that utilizes a stocking support belt encircling the hip area of the wearer having only one stocking fastener on each side and a pair of normally cut (elongated to the wearer's crotch) individual stockings, each of which is made of a stretchable nylon material, each stocking having a single slit or fastener on the outside hip area so that the stockings may be held in place comfortably for long, extended wear on a single side fastener while remaining, because of the stretchability of the material, firmly and attractively in place between the crotch area of the wearer, the leg portions, and the hip areas. Other articles of clothing such as tank tops or bodysuits can also be used as support members for the stretchable hose. |

A locking fastener for a guitar strap which receives the end pin of a guitar includes a base plate and a locking plate which is reciprocatingly slidable on the base plate. The base plate has a pin receiving keyhole formed through its thickness which is defined by a widened opening and a narrowed opening. The base plate also has a central slot formed through its thickness and openings or detents which are spaced apart from one another. The locking plate has a front edge which is recessed to define an open pocket, at least one protrusion which is selectively received in the openings or detents to secure the locking plate in a desired position with respect to the base plate, and a knob post or handle which extends through the central slot of the base plate and which is graspable by a user. By sliding the locking plate with respect to the base plate, the user may effectively change the size of the pin receiving keyhole to secure or release the end pin of the guitar from the locking fastener and strap attached thereto. |

There is provided a chap-styled therapeutic gradient compression stocking that includes a foot portion, a leg portion having a lower leg portion extending from the foot portion upward above the knee to an upper leg portion, a waist support and a hip portion extending between the waist support and the upper leg portion may be made with stretchable yarn to provide a compressive force against the lower leg and thigh of a patient and constructed so as to be worn on either leg. The hip portion is formed between the thigh portion and the waist support and covers the area below the waist of the patient to the upper leg portion. The hip portion is formed around the lower waist of the patient and has cutouts on each side of the hip portion, sized to accommodate the crotch area of the patient so that the stocking may be worn on either leg. The therapeutic stocking is held in place on the patient's leg by a waist support or waistband that includes a strap-engaging loop formed at the top of the hip portion. The strap-engaging loop extends around that portion of the circumference the hip portion at the front and rear of the portion but not above the cutouts. Through the strap-engaging loop is waist strap. The strap has Velcro®-type fasteners on either side so that the strap may be easily opened and closed from either side depending upon which leg the stocking is being worn. |
