28 Resilient claw hair clip US13223013 2011-08-31 US08528573B2 2013-09-10 Stan Chudzik; Michael Defenbaugh
A hair clip has a body of a resilient material and first and second claws. The body has a dome shape and includes an outer perimeter, inner and outer surfaces, and a body plane defined generally by the perimeter. The body also includes a body axis generally central to the body and oriented generally perpendicular to the body plane. The first and second claws are coupled to and extend from the body in a generally axial direction relative to the body. The first and second claws are spaced from and generally opposite one another across the body. The hair clip is movable between an open and a closed position. In the open position, the body protrudes from the body plane in an inward axial direction and the first and second claws are separated from one another. In the closed position, portions of the first and second claws overlap one another.
29 Device and method for monitoring access to a patient, in particular access to vessels during extracorporeal blood treatment US12282568 2006-12-08 US08177736B2 2012-05-15 Pascal Kopperschmidt
The invention relates to a device and to a method for monitoring access to vessels during extracorporeal blood treatment. The invention forms a loop in the arterial and/or venous line and provides device for fixing a section of the line in a loop. When the line is stressed under tension, the loop contracts and the line finally kinks. The modification of the diameter of the line and the formation of a kink in the line leads to a rise of pressure in the line, which is monitored by a pressure monitoring device. If the pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the aspirating cannula is in danger of slipping out of the vessel access or has partially or completely slipped out, thus allowing the threshold value to be determined for alarms.
30 Hair clip with concealed hinge spring US12431256 2009-04-28 US08087416B2 2012-01-03 Michael Defenbaugh; Justin Recchion
A hair clip having two body members pivotally coupled together by a concealed-spring hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism includes a housing and a spring concealed within the housing in normal use of the hair clip. In typical commercial embodiments, the housing is integrally formed with a first one of the body members in a one-step process. The housing defines an inner-end access opening through which the spring is inserted during the manufacturing process. The access opening is closed off by a second one of the body members when the hair clip is assembled for use. The hair clip may be manufactured with the housing initially fabricated on the first body member in a one-piece construction.

33 Merchandising hanger US10824110 2004-04-14 US07222399B2 2007-05-29 Kenneth D. Eisenbraun
A merchandising hanger has a planar surface adapted to receive printed indicia thereon and characterized by having a top and a base. The top of the planar surface is formed as a hook, cutout, or hole so as to allow the merchandising hanger to be suspended from a conventional merchandising rack. A tab extends from the base of the planar surface and includes a stud integral with the tab and a stud-receiving aperture in another portion of the tab. The aperture has a flange associated therewith. Intermediate between the stud and the aperture is a tab portion having a thickness less than the tab portion proximal to the planar surface. The relative thicknesses of tab portions and the interaction between the stud and complementary aperture afford a theft deterrent without compromising the merchandising function.
34 Size tag clip US10665125 2003-09-22 US20050060851A1 2005-03-24 Shu-Fen Wang
The invention relates to a size tag clip on a hanger. Which includes an external protruding plate on which are symmetrical sloping top surfaces. The sides at the top of the sloping surface are flat but the bottom part are two matching sloping protrusions that form a tiny ditch with the hanger. When inserting the size tag into the size tag clip, the sloping surfaces will expand the opening of the size tag which, after passing through the sloping protrusions will snap tight the size tag with the size tag clip. Inversely, rotate the size tag rendering the size tag clip a little slanted to force the opening of the size tag to expand to become bigger than the thickness of the external protruding plate, making the size tag to slide past the sloping protrusions easily when taking off the size tag from the size tag clip.
