121 Dually adjustable, anchored, parallel lacing technology US15299555 2016-10-21 US09730492B2 2017-08-15 Anna Krengel
A lacing system having multiple anchor types, i.e., interior anchors, end anchors, and dynamically adjustable anchors, that, in combination with parallel lacing technology, provide instant and reliable fastening for shoes, boots, and other articles of manufacture. The lace is threaded and anchored so that, a single arcuate pull on the movable fastener(s) causes the multiple lace segments to move through the eyelets of the shoe, and align in unison, so that the entire shoe opening contracts (or opens wide) simultaneously. The fastener(s) can be hook and loop, ratchet buckles, adjustable buckles, or cord locks. The laces are replaceable. The adjustable opening is customizable for different width feet providing “gross” adjustment. The fastener provides “fine” adjustment. Methods and diagrams are disclosed for threading, anchoring, and customizing the lacing, as well as for indicating that the lacing is correct.

125 Adjustable fastening arrangement for garment US11088558 2005-03-23 US20050260920A1 2005-11-24 Liza Cheng
An adjustable locking arrangement for a brassiere having two brassiere cups comprise two elongated straps, each of which has a free sliding end portion and an affixing end portion, a locking fastener, comprising a fastening body having two side opening and a center window, and two locker members slidably mounted on the fastening body at the center window, wherein the elongated straps are overlappedly tucked to form two locking loops to slidably engage with the fastening body through the side openings respectively for wrapping up two locker members. Therefore, once the two sliding end portions of the elongated straps are pulled opposedly, the two locker members are capable of defining a distance between the two brassiere cups, and when the affixing end portions of the elongated straps are pulled opposedly, two locker members are capable of locking up the distance.

A device for removably securing a line or the like, said device having a base with at least one fastener integral therewith. The fastener has at least one wall extending outwardly therefrom and is, effectively, flexibly secured to the base with the wall terminating in a lip. In one configuration, the base has a ridge opposite the lip with the ridge and lip being substantially adjacent each other and a spike or serrated member which is secured within the fastener and extends in the direction of the lip and the ridge so that a lace or the like may be forced past the lip and ridge and be impaled by the spike, thereby retaining the lace in a fixed position. In a modification of the present invention, one or more walls may extend from the base with each wall terminating in a lip in opposed positions. Thus, the lips of the wall form the opening instead of the lip and ridge of the wall and base. The various modifications of the device are multifunctional in application.
