PURPOSE: To easily adjust printing light quantity at the proper value by incorpo rating a unit to be an index into the other units and forming a single pattern as a whole.
CONSTITUTION: In the pattern for adjusting light quantity, n(n≥1) units An and m(m≥1) units Bm are combined, and they are constituted of different patterns of dot gain. The units An and Bm are generated and composed of one or more plane dots which have the same screen line member and different dot densities through logic operations such as inversion and OR. The units An are composed of the shape and the dot gain in order to be the index for deciding the change of the optical light quantity. Then, the units An becoming the index are incorporated into the units Bm. In order to decide the change of light quantity from the units An becoming the index when the light quantity is changed, the combination of both units An and the units Bm are formed to a single pattern as a whole. Thus, the printing light quantity can be easily adjusted.

PURPOSE: To confirm the quantity of printing light without using a private tool or the like by combining plural patterns into one pattern so that exposed areas of patterns are changed in different proportions in accordance with the change of the quantity of printing light.
CONSTITUTION: Plural patterns are combined into one pattern so that exposed areas of patterns are changed in different proportions in accordance with the change of the quantity of printing light for printing of a certain pattern in a laser plotter device, and parts which are so combined that exposed areas of patterns are changed in different proportions in accordance with the change of the quantity of printing light consist of dots of an approximately equal number of screen lines. Results printed with the light quantity adjusting pattern are distinctly changed in accordance with the change of the quantity of light, and this change is easily visually confirmed, and the boundary between parts where exposed areas of patterns are changed in different proportions in accordance with the change of the quantity of printing light is not distinguished at all when dot densities of these parts coincide with each other, and consequently, the quantity of printing light is easily recognized with a high precision.

PURPOSE: To easily prepare printed matter wherein circular-shaped printing and usual printing are mixed-in together, by making it possible to read not only the set point stored at the time of circular-shaped printing even at the time of usual printing but also the set point stored at the time of the usual printing even at the time of the circularshaped printing.
CONSTITUTION: When the positions of set points M
2, M
3 are stored in a memory block 70B as polar coordinates values in a circular printing mode, said positions are also stored in a memory block 70C as absolute coordinates values. Next, circular printing is performed from the set point M
2 to the set point M
3 in the state of the circular printing mode. Subsequently, when the circular printing mode is converted to a usual printing mode to read the set point M
2, the contents stored in the memory block 70B are read from the memory block 70C as absolute coordinates values X
2, Y
2 as they are and a predetermined set value is read from the memory block 70A of the usual printing of the same orthogonal coordinates as it is to perform the usual printing of characters 50dW50a. Next, a set point M
4 is similarly read as absolute coordinates X
4, Y
4 and the usual printing is performed from said position.

PURPOSE: To display a beautiful rule having no broken dot on a display part, by preliminarily storing the rule pattern corresponding to the thickness of the rule displayed on the display art and continuously drawing the same.
CONSTITUTION: A circular digitalized rule pattern is read from a pattern memory 24 on the basis of the display position data of the rule pattern calculated in a control part 23 and an operation part 25 and the line width data sent from a line width detection part 21 to be sent to a drawing control part 26. The drawing control part 26 writes the rule pattern at the position of a bit map memory 27. By this method, by successively writing the display position of the rule pattern at the position of the bit map memory 27, the data of the rule pattern is formed to be displayed on a display art 30 by the control of a display control part 28 and a straight line, an oval, a free curve or the like can be also displayed beautiful.

PURPOSE: To continue to enhance the efficiency of photocomposing work, by dividing the display screen of CRT into a plurality of sections and performing displays different in magnification in the same screen.
CONSTITUTION: The character 6 being 'A' selected on a character searching window 5 from a character board 37 is displayed on the screen of a monitor display part 1 through an image pick-up camera 52. Subsequently, when photocomposing indication is issued from an command input part 31, the composing of the character 6 being 'A' is applied to a photosensitive material 47 and said character 6 is displayed on the screen of a monitor display part 4 as a character 4 after composing, and the character searching window 5 moves. When the whole of the screen of the monitor display part 1 is looked, across a dividing boundary part 2 dividing the screen into two sections, the upper part performs display in magnification capable of displaying the whole of the photosensitive material 47 while the lower part performs display in magnification wherein a pheriphery is enlarged on the basis of the character searching window 5. In this case, for example, composing can be performed while the closing interval with the character 6 'I' in the character 6 'H', the positional relation of 'C' and 'O' of characters 4 finished in composition and the balance of the photosensitive material 47 as a whole are simultaneously considered.

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled system, through which the conditions of present printing and the positional relationship of a printing area, a sensitized material area, a printing present position on a sensitized material, etc. are confirmed easily, by forming a window displaying these areas and position, etc. on the picture of a CRT. CONSTITUTION:The displaying picture of a CRT1 is constituted by a printing character displaying section (f) and a comment displaying section (g), and a printing area (a), a sensitized material setting area (b) and a CRT displaying area (d) are each displayed to a window W in one part of the comment displaying section (g) with relative relation-ship. A present position (e) displaying a positioning at any position in the printing area (a) of a cursor (h) displayed on the displaying section (f) is also displayed. |
