CONSTITUTION: The integral type multi-layered analyzing element is constituted by successively laminating a light transmittable and water impermeable base, detecting layer and liquid development layer contg. a self-color-developable substrate. The detecting layer thereof is formed as the water permeable layer by using a hydrophilic polymer having film forming power as a binder and uniformly dispersing the pulverized light reflective particles into the layer in such a manner that the transmittance in the direction perpendicular to the layer is ≤1%. Titanium dioxide, barium sulfate, etc. are used as the pulverized particles. The red color, etc. of the hemoglobin in the total blood of the sample supplied to the development layer are shielded by the pulverized light reflective particles to obviate the disturbance in the stage of measuring the reflected rays on the base side. The analysis of the bio-fluid with high sensitivity and high accuracy is thus made without being affected by the chromatic materials in the sample.
