CONSTITUTION:Through provision of a head tank 15, water is always filled in the system even during the while when a high-pressure water pump 6 is at rest in so far as the level of water in the head tank 15 is located between a high level and a low level of a water gauge 18 for the head tank 15, so that intrusion of air into the system is prevented. However, if the pump 6 is kept at rest for long time, the level of water in the tank 15 becomes lower than said low level of the water gauge 18 due to leakage of cooling water for cooling bearings of the pump and leakage of water to a water tank 1 through a check valve 3, so that intrusion of air into the pump 6 can be expected. In order to overcome the above problem and to prevent occurrence of accidents, the system of this invention incorporates a safety device which lights an alarm lamp on a control board 21 of the pump 6 when the water level becomes lower than said low level of the water gauge 18, stores the temporary drop of water level into memory, and disables the pump 6 from starting until air removing operation is completed by an operator.
