When heavy lime is used as the calcareous material, the material is granulated or coated with a water-soluble resin or blended with an organic substance as pretreatment so as to delay rise in pH and mixed with peat-moss, bark compost, etc., useful in ordinary execution for tree planting to give mixed material. A bedrock layer is formed on the surface of the reducing bad soil.
