CONSTITUTION: A resin is carried from a desalination tower 1 through a conduit 3 to a separating tower 5. In this transportation, the resin flows as an aqueous slurry through a spiral conduit, so that frictions between each resin grain are increased enough to mechanically split clads. The resin slurry suspending the clads is then carried to the resin-clad separating tower 5, where the slurry is rotated as a whirlpool stream by sloshing water lines 6, 7. Consequently, the clads centrifugally float upwards in the separating tower due to the specific gravity difference between the resin and the clads. The floating clads are discharged to a waste disposer through a draining line 8 attached to the upper part of the tower. On the other hand, the regenerated resin is returned through a regenerated resin carrying line 9 to the spiral conduit for splitting clads in the conduit, and to the separating tower 5 again for separating the split clads.
