When the oil level in the tank 4 drops below a lower float switch 5a, an oil transfer pump 17a is brought in operation and fuel oil is sent from an transit tank 26 to the tank 4 on the roof through a pipe 16. When the oil level in the transit tank 26 drops due to oil supply from the transit tank 26 to the tank 4 on the roof, an oil transfer pump 17b is brought in operation and fuel oil is sent from an underground oil storage tank 15 to the transit tank 26 through a pipe 16b.
