CONSTITUTION: A modified resin suitable as a dry-lithographic printing vehicle which fouls printing boards little at high temperatures is obtained by reacting (A) 100pts.wt. reaction product of (i) a cyclopentadiene type resin (for example, one prepared by heat-polymerization of a cyclopentadiene type monomer alone or a mixture thereof with a comonomer and having a softening point of 80W200°C and a Gardner color of below 13), (ii) a higher fatty acid ester having conjugated double bonds, such as a natural drying oil such as tung oil or dehydrated castor oil and (iii) an α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride such as maleic anhydride, with (B) 1W80pts.wt. or pref.. 5W60pts.wt. amino group-containing silicon compound such as γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane.
