CONSTITUTION: Mobile machine 14 is supplied with power through slip ring 12 and a sliding feed part formed of slip ring 12 is high-frequency-coupled in series by capacitors 18 and 20 whose frequencies and capacities are so set taht impedance will be much lower than a high-frequency pulse outputted by pulse generator 24 with a higher frequency than a feed frequency. Therefore, the high-frequency pulse from generator 24 is outputted without distortion from a high-frequency coupling line through high-frequency coupler 26 and then applied to the high-frequency coupler of detection circuit 30. Then, differentiation circuit 38, multivibrator 40, integrating circuit 42, full-wave rectifier circuit 44, and comparator 42 generates a high-level output only during a momentary break period of the sliding feed part, so that the voltage break of the sliding feed part of the mobile machine can be detected by a simple consitution through FF48.
