Accordingly, if table 23 is set so that beam 18 may cross pseudo white 32 for scanning at the transmission time of the white signals, V signal underwent the photoelectric conversion for time T which is decided by the pseudo white setting position and length is generated. The position and the length for generation of signal V is decided by the setting position and length of the pseudo white plus one main scanning time.
