2 is connected to the output side of U1, and resistor RS is connected between amplifier 14 and output terminal 26 along with connection of load 28 to terminal 26. At the same time, the voltage across RS is fed back to the nonreverse input end of U1 via buffer amplifier 40 and differential amplifier 30. As a result, the output current can be decided regardless of the amplifier's gain and the load impedance, thus obtaining a high stability for the output current without lowering the regulation efficiency.
