CONSTITUTION: A first array cable stay tower 22 is built on the outside of one side of an existing stadium, and a second array cable stay tower 22 is built on the outside of the other side thereof. Subsequently, the framework 38 of a roof structure is sequentially extended from the tower 22 above the stadium 20, the framework 38 is suspended by a cable 40 connected to the tower 22 to cantilever the roof structure on the tower 22. Both of roof structures are joined to form a roof covering the upper side of the stadium. Thus, it is possible to simply form a cable support roof which places no added weight on the existing stadium.
