With the cavity 2C as a center, a part of a product molded in the cavity 2C and part of the metallic molds inclusive of a part of the cooling pipe 10A, 10B,... are used as a model block for temperature analysis, then the model block is divided into minute blocks, and the temperatures at a temperature sensor fitting position and at fitting positions of the cooling pipes 10A, 10B,... are set to initial temperatures for the temperature analysis. Variations in temperature with time, at each node of the minute blocks, are obtained by a finite-element analysis. Thus, the surface temperature of the molded product and the center temperature of the product are obtained, whereby cooling conditions according to the molding conditions are obtained.
