An instruction to rewrite picture information on individual windows by an application program is sent from a main processor 6 to rewrite contents of the buffer 7, and simultaneously, a display controller 3 receives it to check the table 4, and contents of the buffer 7 are rewritten if necessary, thus efficiently performing the atypical business.
