CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin such as PE, PP, PS, PVC, preferably heat- resistant polycarbonate is molten and incorported with a polychlorinated copper phthalocyanine with 14-18 chlorine atoms and phthaloperinone of the formula (X is H, halogen; A is benzen nucleus, naphthalene nucleus; n is 1-4) at a ratio of 5/95- 30/70 as organic pigments. The resulting composition is formed into filters which have a very sharp curve of optical transmittance whose peak is near 530-620nm that is the most sensitive zone for human eyes. Therefore, when used as displays for light emitting diode, gas-discharge tube and television, they show good contrasts.
