A buffer part 2 supplies the input data and discriminates it to transmit the input signals showing the phonetic characters, conversion control signals and display control signals. The part 3 supplies the input signals and converts the phonetic characters into Chinese characters while transferring the retrieving signals with a dictionary part 4. Then the part 3 transmits the pattern signals and displayed them at the part 6.
