CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition is obtained by separating and recovering a liquid ingredient from shea butter [a fat obtained from seeds of shea (scientific name; Butyrospermum parkii)] which has been used in cosmetics such as an antisuntan agent, a rinse, a cream or a milky lotion by applying ultraviolet ray absorptivity and excellent emulsification stability according to a vacuum distillation, a solvent fractional crystallization method, etc., and normally blending 10-80% resultant liquid shea butter with a hair or a skin cosmetic. The obtained cosmetic composition is capable of imparting excellent touch to the hair or skin and has also excellent antisuntan effects.
