CONSTITUTION: A caking agent obtained by further separating and deoiling crude wax oil produced in a dewaxing process in forming rice bran oil from rice bran with an organic solvent, e.g. xylene, hexane, etc., heating the separated wax to give crude rice bran wax, using and blending about 10% resultant crude rice bran wax as a principal component. The principal component of the crude rice bran wax is an ester of a higher fatty acid with a higher alcohol and solid at ordinary temperature, liquefies by heating and has about 80°C melting point. Thereby the aimed readily combustible, preservable and transportable nonpollution caking agent having a high calorific value and rich in water as well as moisture resistance is obtained.
