CONSTITUTION: A pressure-regulating man lock 3 is mounted on the foundation 2 of a building constructed by the caisson method. One end of the man lock 3 is connected with an elevator lock 6 encasing an elevator 8 which passes through the foundation 2 and moves up and down for access to the caisson work spot. The other end of the man lock 3 is communicated with an elevator shaft 10 installed with an elevator 11 which connects the foundation 2 with the surface of the ground.
