4 . etc. are washed with water and removed, and gypsum 14 is recovered. Filtrate from the centrifugal separator 13 is forwarded to a filtrate tank 15. Thus, a rate of mixing of Na
2 SO
4 contained in the gypsum is decreased, and the gypsum whose quality is excellent and market value is high causing no efforescence is recovered.
