CONSTITUTION: The objective chemical admixture can be obtained by formulating (A) a high-performance water-reducing agent such as polyalkylsulfonate, (B) at least one kind of inorganic matter selected from bentonite, phlogopite, brimstone, zeolite, activated carbon, coal cinders and attapulgite, and (C) an organic acid such as polyfunctional oxycarboxylic acid and furthermore, if needed, (D) such strength enhancer(s) as gypsum and particulate silica. Application of this chemical admixture will reduce the strength drop of the resultant concrete and prevent or reduce its slump drop.
