CONSTITUTION: The object to be measured and illuminated light are received by a light receiving cylinder 9, and the illuminated light is directed toward a specific direction on a screen 12 by means of a reflection mirror 10. The screen 12 is formed by a cylindrical surface commonly having a central axis with the light receiving cylinder 9. A driving device 11 rotates the reflection mirror 10 at a predetermined speed so that the light image 14 on the surface of the screen 12 rotates at a predetermined angular velocity around the cylindrical axis forming the screen 12. The length for quantitatively measuring the division where the light image 14 becomes visionally invisible is graduated in graduations 13. By utilizing such device, the quantitative comparison of the strobo effect under the illumination of the lighting equipment becomes possible.
