CONSTITUTION: The luminance signal IL is supplied to a recursive filter RFL and a motion detector BD together with the corresponding signal RL that is outputted from a memory SP with a time delay. The detector BD decides a filter coefficient KL against the filter RFL. The signal IL which is processed by the filter RFL is temporarily stored again in the memory SP. An evaluation circuit AS is driven by the detector BD to decide the filter coefficients KC against the chrominance signals IB and RB. Then the signals IB and RB and also the chrominance signals IR and RR are supplied to the recursive filters RFB and RFR in response to the luminance signal IL or RL. The chrominance signals are recursively filtered based on the coeff icients KC.
