CONSTITUTION: All surface of the base plate 1 is applied with the undercoat 2 of a thermo plastic synthetic resin paint, and then the grain-pattern 3 is printed on the undercoat 2. After forming the grain-patterned layer 3, its entire surface is coated with a transparent or translucent paint uniformly to form the paint film layer 4, and on the surface of the paint film layer 4, the three-dimensional grain-patterned relief form 5 is provided on the grain pattern 3 covered with the layer 4 by using rolls having an relief surface. Thus, the use of a thermal plastic resin in the undercoat 2 and the paint film 4 results in the softening of the undercoat 2 and the paint film 4 and also more easiness of molding, thus preventing the cracking of paint film.
