CONSTITUTION: A video signal from a television camera 4 of a television interphone slave machine 1, and a sound signal of a loudspeaker and microphone 5 and a call button 5 are sent to a television interphone master machine 2, and also, the video signal and the sound signal are reproduced by a television receiver. In this state, when a handset 36 of the master machine 2 is raised, a voice control circuit 34 operates and reduces the sound volume which is sent to the television receiver. Thereafter, a speech is executed between the handset 36 of the master machine 2 and the loudspeaker and microphone 5. In such a way, when the handset 36 of the master machine 2 is raised, the voice of the television receiver is reduced, therefore, howling is prevented, and also, the mutual speech becomes clear.
