CONSTITUTION: Raw sewage is maintained in an anerobic digestion bath at 30 to 37°C for about 30 days while being stirred, whereby organic material is converted into methane by action of methane bacteria. The separated liquid in the bath is treated either by air exposure at undiluted conditions, nitrification or nitrification denitrification. The treated water is directly supplied to the top of reaction tower filled with fresh water or decolored treated water, and ozone-containing air is sprayed into the bottom of the tower to perform decolorization. Bubble overflowed from the top is, as required, fed to a bubble bath, where bubble is eliminated by treated-decolored water spray, and returned to the air exposing bath.
