CONSTITUTION: A soln. containing calcium phosphate and org. acids is deposited on a core material. This calcium phosphate is preferably hydroxyapatite, tricalcium phosphate, etc., having 1.0-1.7 Ca/P molar ratio. Citric acid is preferable as the org. acid. As for the core material, any material having thermal stability can be used, such as metal, e.g. titanium, ceramics, e.g. alumina, high melting point glass, etc. The soln. is deposited by dipping coating, etc. The core material with deposition of the soln. is baked at about 560-800°C in air. Thereby, the calcium phosphate coating layer having good crystallinity and good affinity with bone can be obtained.
