PROCESS: A reactive derivative of 2-cyanobenzenesulfonic acid at the hydroxyl group, e.g. a chloride of formula II, is reacted with a 2,6-dialkylaniline of formula III, preferably in the presence of an acid binding agent, e.g. an organic or inorganic base, to give the compound of formula I.
