CONSTITUTION: At points in a main pipe 1 of a sludge transfer line, there are arranged additive feeders coagulator tank 2, solidifier tank 8, and cement milk tank 14. Each tank comprises a stirrer, metering pump, check valve, and feed pipe connected to the main pipe 1. Additives are sequentially added, at additive feed points 7, 13, and 19, to the sludge flowing in the pipe 1, and the mixture is stirred; a booster pump 20 conducts further stirring and pressurizing. A flowmeter 21 detects the amount of the sludge so that the amounts of the coagulator and solidifier are decided based on the proportional constants. The metering pumps 4, 10, and 16 are so controlled that the sludge is added with decided amounts of coagulator and solidifier, and added with 2W6 wt% (based on the sludge amount) of a cement milk consisting of one part by weight of cement and one part of water.
