CONSTITUTION: To begin with, the mounting position of the parts cassette 1 is input to an ID counter 2. The parts cassette 1 fitted with an ID counter 2, to which the mounting position is input, is attached to the position of the fixing base 3 of a part feeder. A first parts cassette 1 is shifted to the mounting position, and by a write head 4, the mounting position (Zn) of the parts cassette 1 is read in from the ID counter 2. The content is transmitted from the read write head 4 to a controller, and the controller judges whether the mounting position of the parts cassette is right or not. This process is repeated n times (the number of cassettes), and in case that the mounting position of the parts cassette 1 is right (it has become right after modification of mounting), the part mounting is performed.
