A pedal assembly that includes a snap-on treadle that can easily be attached to a pedal arm but that cannot be removed without either plastic deformation or fracture of a portion of the treadle. Also, a kickdown mechanism that changes the amount of force required to push a treadle on the pedal as the treadle is pushed further and further. In addition, a hysteresis assembly that controls the feedback that the pedal assembly provides to an operator. Further, a sensor that detects the position of the treadle. Also, rotor assembly that is convenient to assemble. |

An electronic timing device is disclosed for simply and easily indicating elapsed time since a food container was opened. The electronic timing device can be directly attached to the food container and can be activated when first opening the food container. Activation occurs via a simple one-button-press operation. Thereafter, the electronic timing device displays elapsed time in days. Additionally, via a further one-button-press operation, the electronic timing device can display elapsed time in hours within the current day. Thereafter, viewing the display readily indicates the elapsed time since the food container was first opened. The electronic timing device can be reused by directly attaching it to another food container and re-activating the electronic timing device. The electronic timing device can be used with any container or to indicate elapsed time of any event having occurred.

A knockdown storage vessel has an internal bladder and external barrel sections. The ends of two barrel sections include a centrally-located bush that can be engaged by a handle so as to secure the barrel sections and allow for rolling transport of the vessel. The vessel barrel sections are dimensioned so as to nest within one another for compact storage.
175 | Knock down pole construction | US64757 | 1979-08-08 | US4248025A | 1981-02-03 | Richard A. Kleine; Warren J. Byers |
A knock down tapered pole for a power-line wherein the pole is comprised of a series of superimposed pole sections with each section including a series of U-shaped bent-corner plates of uniform cross-sectional thickness and a plurality of trapezoidal-shaped flat plates positioned between the bent-corner plates and where the corner plates and the flat plates are secured together by means of fasteners.
176 | Knockdown display rack | US52197374 | 1974-11-08 | US3921813A | 1975-11-25 | CIMINO ALFONSE |
A knockdown display rack for displaying merchandise which consists of an enlarged weighted base having an upstanding support post upon which is rotatably mounted a framework or cage upon which a series of merchandise-receiving receptacles or pockets are mounted in tiers. The framework or cage is generally square in outline so as to pivotally mount a series of four receptacles at each level or tier. The display rack is designed to be manufactured as a knocked down unit comprising several components which may be packaged, stored and shipped in a compact arrangement, which may be assembled by an unskilled person without the use of special tools, and which during assembly interlock with one another to provide a rack which is sturdy and does not inadvertently collapse when subjected to normal rough handling by the customers in a retail outlet. In particular, the present invention provides a rack in which the display pockets include connecting elements which are designed to be distorted automatically into interlocking relationship during the normal assembly operation.
