说明书全文 | The invention relates to an improved pillow to accommodate or sleep comfortably. More specifically, the invention relates to a pillow formed by two pillows one thicker than the other , joined between them by its interior plane sides in its short side edge, so that folding the two pillows it is obtained a third thickness. Several forms of pillow books combinations have been known, Pat.nº 185.732 Dec. 18. 1905 London, England. to Henry S. Dean shows a book with four leaves of textile fabric. The complete text has not been obtained in order to know if the leaves are padded as it appears, all the leaves have the same thickness.
These patents of P. Ekstein and A. Smallwood have the same characteristics because their two pillows have the same thickness when they are opened and it is obtained a second thickness when they are closed. To obtain three thickness with two pillows it is achieved when one pillow is thicker than the other pillow. In this way these two opened pillows give two different thickness or height, obtaining their third thickness when they are closed adding the thickness of the less thick pillow with the thickness of the thicker pillow. As a result of this ability to support the head in various positions, the claimed design has been shown to have beneficial effects on ones cervical column and posture. Also the ability to create three different thickness from just two foldable sections provides an economical means of providing and adjustable pillow. Such design is relatively easy to manufacture and use. The present invention relates to a new prototype of pillow. Formed by two pillows in which their interior sides go illustrated with texts and drawings with pleasant and decorative motifs Fig. 1. A dual pillow formed by two pillows of different thickness joined between them by means of a fabric ribbon (3) or by a zipper, so that folding the two pillows are closed in a similar way to a book as shown in Fig. 5. And whose characteristics are different from what it is known, destined to home secton. A dual pillow preferably characterized because between the two pillows and held by ribbons previously fixed in their center, upon the fabric ribbon (3) or the ribbon of the zipper that joins them , it will have incorporated fabric leaves illustrated (8). This dual pillow is more than just a soft book having cushioned covers. This invention is a foldable pillow which may be used for comfortably supporting ones head in a variety of resting positions since being different the measures in three following positions of sleeping or resting, being lain:
This pillow has been developed to use in each one of these three positions. A dual pillow formed by two pillows, one with a thickness of about 7 cm., other with a tickness of about 5 cm., which added form the pillow with a thickness of about 12 cm. as shown in Fig. 5. The filling of the pillows is composed of a foam piece (11) formed of polyurethane which is preferably fireproof. The foam piece Fig. 4 in its upper side will have a groove-shaped cavity formed therein extending from the front part to behind of the foam piece, this grooved cavity causes the ear to receive less pressure when resting one's head upon the pillow, resulting in more comfortable support. This foam piece (11) is fluffy on its upper side and sides. It will be made a plurality of pillows with different thickness and measures , in order to accommodate children and adults, always with a pillow (1) that has a thickness greater than pillow (2) as it is shown in Fig. 3. May be incorporated a fabric sheath (not shown), which will cover the outsides of the two pillows as well as their sides. This fabric sheath takes the shape of two rectangular vessels fixed to the center by the upper part of their short side, the fabric sheath has two bags, one on each extreme of the two vessels, and in the center between the two vessels two ribbons fixed one on each side. After putting the pillows within the sheath, these ribbons are crossed to the interior sides of the pillows and bound with a loop. Fig. 1
