| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To improve operability of operator and to reprint a document with no misstake by selecting a portion of the document to be stored in a revision memory and storing the selected portion into a non-volatile memory then reprinting a part of the selected document. CONSTITUTION: A printer port 21 for providing a print instruction and a carriage movement instruction to a printer 3 based on a received key code, and an MPU 22 for controlling an electronic typewriter according to a control sequence stored in a ROM 23 are provided. Furthermore, a ROM 23 for storing a control program, a random access memory (RAM 1) 24 containing the work area to be used by the MPU 22, and a non-volatile memory (RAM 2) 25 for holding the stored content such as margin or tab through a battery 26 are provided. By such arrangement, the carriage can be moved to the reprint start and end positions, under a condition where a print is made on a paper face, without requiring a display in order to set the reprint range while furthermore a plurality of phrases can be stored and called out through combination with the non- volatile memory 25.
