| 摘要 | PURPOSE:A leathery material, obtained by firmly entangling specific ultrafine fibers and a hard twisted knitted or woven fibric so as to give an unseparable and integrated material and holding the form with a high polymer binder and having a high tenacity, low elongation and improved abrasion characteristic and rich in flexibility. CONSTITUTION:A web ultrafine fibers or fibers capable of forming the ultrafine fibers having =20mm length is placed on a hard twisted knitted or woven fabric, preferably a woven fabric, prepared by using hard twisted yarns having 700-4,000T/m, particularly 1,500-4,000T/m number of twists as warps and wefts and having 20-200g/m , particularly 30-150g/m basis weight and needle punched to firmly entangle the nonwoven fabric with the knitted or woven fabric. Latent torque of the knitted or woven fabric is, as necessary, unwound by treatment with hot water or dry heat treatment and a high polymer binder, e.g. a polymer having rubber-like elasticity such as polyurethane or SBR, is applied to the resultant fabric to afford the aimed leathery material.
