| 摘要 | 1401328 Ball game J S BURGOS 31 Aug 1972 [31 Aug 1971] 44869/73 Divided out of 1401327 Heading A6D Apparatus for a game of the type in. which a ball is hit between players in a fixed court who are separated by a net between them and may not move their feet while playing, comprises hitting means in the form of discs 9 having a diameter approximately equal to 8% of the height of the user, a net 1 positioned so that its top is at a height proportional to that of the taller player and means for marking court areas 3, 4 for each player in proportion to his height. Preferably each court has a length parallel to the net equal to the height reached by the respective player with his right thumb when his right arm is stretched upwards and a width at right angles to the net of half this length. Each court area may be spaced 30 cms from the plane of the net and may be marked out with tapes of lengths to suit different players. The hitting discs 9 (a pair of discs is shown in Fig 2) are preferably formed in layers the inner layer of reduced diameter and each player holds a disc in each hand and uses either to hit the ball over the net to his opponent. A suitable ball is described in Specification 1401327. The apparatus can be adapted for use by a single player. | ||||||
