| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To provide a pressure-free tennis ball having high repulsive performance and a satisfactory ball hit feeling, by preparing a core of rubber composition having a specified compounding ratio of polyethylene to rubber. CONSTITUTION: The repulsive elasticity of a core and the repulsive performance of a ball are improved by blending 5-60pts.wt. of polyethylene with 100pts.wt. of rubber to optimize a deformation amount so that the repulsive performance and a ball hitting feeling equivalent to a pressurized tennis ball are obtained and the ball hitting feeling can be prevented from reduction due to repetitive hits. In the case of 5pts.wt. or less of polyethylene to 100pts.wt. of rubber, the core is soft so that the improvement in the repulsive performance of the ball and the ball hitting feeling cannot be obtained. If high styrene resin or the like is added to harden the core, the repulsive elasticity is degraded to degrade the flight of the ball and the ball hitting feeling. It is because, when over 60pts.wt. of polyethylene is blended with 100pts.wt. of rubber, the core becomes too hard and the ball hitting feeling becomes heavy and hard. COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
