摘要	PURPOSE:To facilitate the modifiation of the arrangement of charactr keys by providing respective character keys with the functions of generating patterns which correspond to characters and the function of generating patterns of all characters at each key position. CONSTITUTION:With an ''a'' character key pushed, the projections of a pattern generator 13 turn on the reed switches 21 and 22 of a pattern receiver 20. Consequently, a lower circuit part generates a signal, and consequently an ''a'' character signal ''110'' is sent from signal lines 31, 32 and 33 to a pattern register 40. Then, when the ''a'' character key 10 is detached from a keyboard 100 by a character key indication tool 12 and moved to the position of an ''i'' character key to be pushed, the reed switches 80 and 81 of a pattern receiver 80 are turned on. Consequently, the lower circuit part generates the signal and a pattern register 40 generates the ''a'' character signal ''110''. Thus, even when the character key is moved to any location on the keyboard, the signal of the same character key is generated.
