| 摘要 | An apparatus opens clamping jaws on workholders mounted on a turret and then unloads articles held by resilient clamps on the workholder. A pair of open jaws are moved about an article held in a workholder and then closed while spring members bear against the article urging it against inner faces of the jaws. The jaws are withdrawn and opened to release the article into a bin which has a plurality of compartments and is indexed in synchronism with the turret so that articles removed from a particular workholder are always delivered to the same compartment of the receiving bin. | ||||||

In an apparatus for releasing an article from a movable holding device having a projecting plate and a movable jaw member for clamping the article against a surface of the holding device: a supporting frame, a plate pivotally mounted to said frame for movement toward and away from the holding device, an actuator member slidably mounted on said plate for releasing and moving said holding device, means for pivoting said plate toward said holding device to move said actuator member to contact and move said movable jaw member to unclamp said article, and means rendered operative upon movement of said actuator member into contact with said movable jaw member for sliding said actuator member along said plate to engage the plate projecting from said movable holding device and advance said holding device away from said article. |
