| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To eliminate risk of burn damage even though a thermal protector concerned is used in a variety of electric apparatus, embody the protector in a small size, and equip the protector with electric ratings at approx. the same level by allowing a glass vessel to accommodate a mounting piece, to which a stationary side electrode and a movable side electrode are secured using glass frit bead, wherein the movable side electrode is equipped with a snap action type thermo-response operating element approaching or going apart from the movable side electrode while positioned as facing it, and sealing the opening in the glass vessel with the bead through melting of the glass frit. CONSTITUTION: The opening in a glass container 8 is sealing with a glass frit bead 7, wherein a stationary side electrode and a movable side electrode are formed consolidated, by melting glass frit. Owing to the seal part thus formed, the glass container 8 can be shortened, and also the sealing be performed in low temp. range. Therefore, the distance of a snap action type thermo-response operating element 5 from the seal part 9 of glass container can be shortened compared with a thermal protector of conventional structure.
