摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the durability and reliability of ignition by a method wherein an inflamable mixed gas is passed through an oxidative catalyst, a high temperatur burning gas is produced, then the gas is utilized as an igniting source for a fuel. CONSTITUTION:An oxidative catalyst 30 is fixed in the vicinity of a fuel nozzle 40. An air from an air piping 20 and a methane from a methane piping 10 are supplied for the oxidative catalyst 30, then a methane-air mixed gas is passed through the catalyst. The methane-air mixed gas burns and reacts in the catalyst, produces reaction heat, then a high temperature burning gas is jetted through a catalyst outlet, thereby, a fuel jetted through the fuel nozzle 40 can be ignited by the high temperature gas as an igniting source. In case of te methane-air mixed gas, for instance, by utilizing a Pb-Pt family catalyst, the burning efficiency of the methane in the catalyst can be achieved up to 100%. At this time, the burning gas temperature is about 1,300 deg.C at the catalyst outlet, the temperature is enough for the igniting source of the fuel.
