| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To release a web and to prevent generation of wrinkles due to strain by disposing a backing drum downstream from a press nip, with the web moved to a dryer felt after press work, and sending the web to a dryer section. CONSTITUTION: With a wet web WD (D is omitted hereafter, as in other abbreviations) held between two sheets of blankets 24, 24', it is put through a backing roll 32 and a press member 34 so as to be dehydrated; then, with one blanket 24' immediately separated, the web is guided together with the blanket 24 to a backing drum 26 provided downstream from the press member 34. A dryer felt 16 is superposed on the web W on this backing drum 26, with the blanket 24 separated from the web W on the exit side of the backing drum 26, and the web W attached to the dryer felt 16 is guided to a dryer roll 14.
