摘要	A recording apparatus includes a medium setting section on which a recording medium (M) is set; a recording section that records an image on the recording medium set on the medium setting section; and a medium moving section that reciprocates the medium setting section with respect to the recording section. The recording section includes a pretreatment section that supplies a pretreatment liquid to the recording medium when the medium setting section moves in a first direction, a leveling section that is provided on a further downstream side with respect to the pretreatment section in the first direction and levels a recording surface of the recording medium when the medium setting section moves in the first direction, and a supplying section that supplies ink to a leveled recording surface when the medium setting section moves in a second direction.
